If you are unable to submit an RFA: you may not have the correct access to complete this task. At the top right of the toolbar alongside your name and E-number, is your assigned role level. Only those with a role of SchoolDelegator and SchoolRep are able to submit RFAs. Principals and Deputy Principals are automatically assigned SchoolDelegator access and are able to grant you SchoolRep access. Contact your Principal or Deputy to arrange suitable access.
A Request forAssistance may already exist: there may be an open WholeSchool request for assistance. This can be checked in both the Whole School List and My RFA list, in the Details column. If the RFA is in New or Evaluation status, then actioning is required by the school to progress the RFA. Only one Whole School RFA can be active at one time.
1. As a SchoolDelegator (i.e. Principal or Deputy Principal), log into SSEND RFA Database using your E-number and password
2. Click Manage Roles
3. Click SchoolRep
4. Click either Add or Edit icon
5. Search staff members name
6. Click Add
7. Click Save
8. There is no need to add a reason. Click Continue
9. Click Close
If you see 0 records: check that the students first and last name are spelt correctly.
If 0 records are still being shown, then the student you are searching for has not been imported into the SSEND Application. Click Search SID, then Import from SID.
If you see 0 records when Showing SID search results: the student may not have a current enrolment or admission status with your school. Please check Integris.

If there is no create button: the student may not have a current enrolment with your school. Please check Integris. Only students with a current enrolment can have a Request for Assistance submitted. If a student is in admissions status they will not be able to have a RFA created until their enrolment is complete.
A Request for Assistance may already exist: the student may have an open request for assistance. This can be checked in both the RFA Student List and My RFA list, in the Details column. If the RFA is in New or Evaluation status, then actioning is required by the school to progress the RFA.
To submit an RFAAT: you must have a Student RFA submitted before you can request Assistive Technology.
Student RFA statuses that allows RFAAT submission: Submitted, Case Coordination or Allocated.
Student RFA statuses that don't allow RFAAT submission: New, Completed, Review or Evaluation.
